The reason Fluidmaster suggests using the spacer first on flanges even or slightly below the floor is because some toilets may have a different recess under the toilet bowl. We have found that most toilets will have a 1/2 inch recess to allow the toilet bowl wax and non-wax products to fit, however, toilet manufactures can make the recess deeper. Fluidmaster suggests trying the spacer first to ensure a proper fit, if it does not then remover the spacer and use the non-wax gasket by itself. This could mean that you have low water pressure and the cause could be some blockage from debris located in the angle stop (located at the wall) or the water supply line (connecting the angle stop to the toilet fill valve). Fluidmaster suggests getting a second 7530 kit and using the 1 spacer unit with both blue gaskets to make a proper seal. However there are spacers available from your local hardware store that you can purchase to place on top of your floor flange. These spacers are available from manufacturers like Oatey and Pasco. It still works .but Everytime I flush..I have to disengage the unit from the float to allow the water to fill etc..but I would like to put the chain back on

If your Kohler toilet has a tank with 3 bolts then you don´t need rubber washer inside the tank with the bolts. The triangular gasket has 3 rubber tabs that will be compressed by the head of the bolt making them to go all the way down and seal at the bottom. Only electronic bidets have temperature controlled warm water, heated set and dryer. Our customers have said that the remote is very easy to use. No water ever touches any electronic component of a bidet. Or else no one would be buying them!

Thank you for your question. Yes the cap should twist an eight of a turn and stop allowing the cap to easily pull off the top of the valve. Follow these steps to clean the valve: Turn off water and flush the toilet. Reach into the tank with your right hand and lift up the float cup and grip the gray shaft and hold it in that position - see photo in this article: www.fluidmaster.com/toilet-problems/toilet-running-constantly/ With your left hand grab the cap and at the same time place your thumb on the side of the plastic arm. Twist both the cap and plastic arm counterclockwise 1/8th turn. Press down on the cap while making a quick twisting motion. Lift up on cap and move away from top of valve body. Using a cup hold the cup upside down over the exposed opening of the valve and turn on the water supply full force for 10-15 seconds. Look inside valve to ensure no debris is left inside the valve. Reverse steps to place top back on the valve. Turn on water and flush toilet to ensure problem has been resolved.
